Living traditions
Folk traditions and customs are an important part of life here in Eugendorf. Something that’s reflected in many different ways, including the large number of Eugendorf heritage societies that nurture our deeply cherished folk practices, some of which are well known, others less so. What makes this so wonderful, is the fact that these traditions can be experienced in person at the widest variety of events. Raising the maypole without the town band playing in the background? A festival on the market square without folk dancers? Simply unimaginable for the people of Eugendorf!
