Gut Aiderbichl

In Henndorf near Salzburg, you will be able to experience unforgettable moments – a place of encounter between people and animals. Gut Aiderbichl was established by Michael Aufhauser back in the year 2000 – as a refuge for poor creatures in hopeless situations. As of today, it has saved over 1000 souls and has become the biggest, best-known institution of its kind in Austria, whilst also being a paradise for animal lovers. Explore the spacious grounds as you come face to face with horses, donkeys, ponies, rabbits and more. Especially magical: the Christmas Market with a big living Nativity scene and an Easter Market where the cute little baby animals play a starring role.

Salzburg Zoo

Located in the south of Salzburg City, the popular Hellbrunn Zoo invites you to enjoy an unforgettable family outing. On 14 hectares of zoo grounds, you will discover around 150 different animal species from around the world: lions, bears, rhinos and many more. The zoo is actually part of the historic Schloss Hellbrunn estate. One highlight is Night Zoo – with spectacular feedings of the nocturnal animals. The petting zoo is a big hit with little visitors – where they can make friends with all the cute fuzzy animals. Look forward to a modern zoo dedicated to nature- and species conservation, home to exotic and native animals living in near-natural enclosures.

SoccerPark

Soccergolf. What’s that? A fun sport for the whole family. You play it like golf – on 18 interesting fairways. However, you strike the ball with your foot – not with a club – negotiating various obstacles before reaching the “hole”. The goal is to take as few kicks as possible. Soccergolf – a great summer highlight in Siezenheim – just outside Salzburg City and just a few minutes off the autobahn. On three hectares of delightful grounds, you will spend between one-and-a-half and two hours enjoying this out-of-the-ordinary game.
