Wolfgangsee boat trip

Even in imperial times, the Wolfgangsee boat trip was something marvellous. Even today, you have the opportunity to glide across the glistening lake on the nostalgic paddle steamer Kaiser Franz Josef. Of course, the fleet also includes modern ferries. So you can enjoy the romance on board and explore the fairytale holiday destinations of St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang and Strobl from the water. A boat trip is particularly impressive in the pre-Christmas period during the Wolfgangsee Advent, when the snow-covered landscape slowly glides past you.

Traunsee

Traunsee boat trip

The glistening, crystal-clear waters of Lake Traunsee and the massive rock face of the Traunstein in the background. This lake is rightly one of the scenic crown jewels of the Salzkammergut. No wonder that a boat tour is so popular in the summer months. You too can experience this incomparably beautiful pleasure cruise – preferably from the sun deck. They say it fulfils longings and dreams. Traunsee shipping has a long tradition. Steam navigation was founded here in 1839 by two Englishmen. And even today, the historic paddle steamer ‘Gisela’ exudes a romantic, nostalgic feeling.

Zillen boat trip on Lake Hallstatt

Explore the unique, fjord-like Alpine lake on a rustic salt boat. Admire the tranquil town of Hallstatt from a particularly beautiful perspective: glide along quietly on a Zille, as it was used 500 years ago as a work boat for transporting salt, and experience Hallstatt from the water on Zillen that have been faithfully recreated by hand. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with this historic type of boat. Moonlight, early morning and winter trips as well as round trips, picnic and themed tours are also in the repertoire – including culinary catering and lasting between half an hour and two hours.
